His Rift — Xbalanque, one of the Hero Twins who outwitted the Lords of Death — fuels his drive to excel, defy odds, and win at all costs. When Carlos publicly reciprocates Zora Petrovic’s crush, their Rifts resonate: her bloom surges, his mythic aura magnifies it, and Seavan is plunged toward a chaotic love riot with deadly consequences.

To be seen as the hero, to win glory in love and in sport — even if it means amplifying Zora’s outbreak into a citywide spectacle.

• Spotlight Stealer: In any public scene, Carlos can draw attention to himself, boosting his status while fueling the outbreak’s spread.
• Athletic Feat: Carlos can perform superhuman stunts of strength or agility, echoing the Hero Twins’ cunning victories — but always in the most public, attention-grabbing way.
• Rift Resonance: When near Zora, his Mythos amplifies hers, advancing both her Bloom and Spread tracks.

• Public Declaration: Carlos loudly, theatrically reaffirms his bond with Zora, surging her outbreak forward.
• Reckless Heroics: Carlos leaps into danger to prove himself, causing collateral damage or endangering students.
• Mythic Feedback: His and Zora’s Rifts lock together, pushing them toward joint Avatarization as “Glorious Bloom.”
