Since the Kuro-kamikiri spirit awakened, he has felt a compulsive, uncontrollable urge to collect strands of women’s hair — a dark echo of his yokai nature. This compulsion brings shame and worry, isolating him emotionally as he battles to keep control over the darker urges. Despite this, Ken remains mostly well-adjusted, holding tightly to his humanity and the hope that he will someday turn his curse into strength.
