Example Hungers:
- *The Bottomless Cup* – You drink, but the thirst only grows.
- *Collector of Names* – Every name taken fills you, but never enough.
- *Ashes of the Sun* – You long for what once gave life, now burned away.
- *The Hollow Crown* – You crave the power of rulership, though it devours you.
Core Question Prompts:
choose or adapt
- What do you crave most, and why does it matter?
- How does this Hunger set you apart from others?
- What lengths will you go to feed it?
- What would it mean to deny it — or to be satisfied?
Expressions:
Define 3
- Expressions must cut both ways—they should offer power and create complications.
For Example: - *Devours the Story Whole* – You learn every detail; obsession blinds you to nuance.
- *The Sixth Bite Is Always Poison* – You push past safe limits; you pay a hidden cost.
- *Knows the Taste of Victory* – Success fuels you; defeat is unbearable.
- *Echoes of the Banquet* – You recall every indulgence; nothing else compares.
Lens Quest Prompts
Hungers are the desires that gnaw at a character’s identity. A Lens Quest here explores temptation, overindulgence, denial, and the cost of insatiable need.
Use questions like these to guide play:
- What would you do if feeding your Hunger harmed someone you care about?
- Who tempts or manipulates you by offering what you crave?
- What happens when your Hunger goes unsatisfied for too long?
- What new Hunger could eclipse the one you already have?
- What would prove this craving hollow or meaningless?
- How would you change if the Hunger was finally satisfied?
- What would you sacrifice to never feel this need again?
